Leading our team of talented and passionate individuals is founder and president Marion Fraternale. Marion is responsible for producing the dynamic and targeted solutions for our clients. Her diverse background of developing brand identities and powerful creative vehicles for retail, corporate and advertising industries is the foundation of FAI. Before establishing FAI, Marion was with Federated Department Stores (R H Macy’s) as Corporate Vice President for 14 years. Her responsibilities included the development of all private label graphics, in-store shop creation, corporate signage, visual merchandising graphics, packaging and direct mail. Previously, Marion was a Special Projects Director for General Foods, developing creative concepts and product evaluations for a wide range of internationally distributed products. Marion graduated with a Fine Arts degree from Bard College. She sits on the Advisory Board of the Lighthouse for the Blind Institute.
PARTNER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR
As partner and creative director, Allison co-founded FAI in 1998 and oversees all creative, production, and all functions at the firm. She is a veteran of the corporate/retail design world with a wealth of design experience ranging from CBS, where she directed the creative development of promotional materials for CBS Broadcast International, CBS Home Video and CBS Licensing & Merchandising, to Corporate Graphics International, where she ran account services and production for one of the world’s leading corporate design firms. Over the years, Allison has been instrumental in creating unique packaging, identity, brand platforms, corporate graphic and signage campaigns for a blue chip list of clients, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Macys, Nicole Miller, Meredith Corporation, H.J. Heinz, Real Simple and Buy Buy Baby. Her work has won numerous industry awards and has been featured in publications such as GDUSA American Graphics Design Awards, Annual Communicator Award, and In-store Graphics Design Award. She has been featured in Really Good Packaging, Market Smart, Big Book of Design Ideas and American Corporate Identity. Always aiming for strategic, dynamic and targeted solutions for all of FAI’s clients, Allison strives to continuously expand the boundaries of the firm’s creativity to deliver unequaled results.
